This weekend I was attending the local Kids Event at Belks Winter Haven where my two kids were modeling in the store fashion show. I was very excited to watch my kids work the crowd, I even arrived to the store on time (a first for me). My mother who was helping the event walks over and hands me a phone and says press this, this and this. I was not feeling very well and not prepared to speak to a crowd (but of course you can't tell your Mom no.) I had five minutes to be prepared to announce 25+ kids to a store full of parents and family; boy was my stomach is all jittery and my mouth is all dry. 15 minutes later the fashion show was over my fears were gone and I was glad I joined Toastmasters.

Toastmaster Area Governor 13..It was and is an exciting thing to be able to talk to a group. I have been a shy reclusive artist most of my life and when I got Divorced and thrown into this cruel world all by myself..I joined Toastmasters and as you know I will speak to anything that is moving.Even have an intelligent conversation. I'm so proud to have met you and your sisters at Woman to Woman magazine.
