Save the Date! 6th Annual Women of Distinction Awards Coming April 7, 2011

The Lakeland Metro Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, NAWBO, is proud to announce that they are currently accepting nominations and sponsorships for the 6th Annual Women of Distinction Awards. This event recognizes women in Polk County who exemplify the values of achievement, integrity, professionalism, community service and personal growth. We are very proud to be able to recognize their efforts and accomplishments. The Women of Distinction Awards ceremony will be held at The Lone Palm Golf Club located at 800 Lone Palm Drive, Lakeland, Florida on Thursday, April 7, 2011. A cocktail reception will begin at 6:30pm. This special evening also benefits the PACE Center for Girls a local non-profit organization that provides at-risk girls opportunities for a better future through education, counseling, training, and advocacy.

We encourage you to nominate one of your colleagues as a Woman of Distinction. A Woman of Distinction is a woman who is outstanding in her profession, is a contributing member of her business or organization and is an active participant in her community. She also is a woman who has distinguished herself in service to her organization, company, and community.
