Have you ever had a bout with Sciatic pain? I started having problems with my leg when I was very young and eventually had sciatica daily.
What I know about this is very personal, and only the person experiencing it can understand how aggravating it is.
I have helped many, including myself, by approaching this annoyance from a different perspective.
The Adductors!
The adductors are your inner thigh muscles. What I have learned and experienced is when I can release tension and strengthen the inner thighs, the pain goes away on the outer hip and "sciatica" disappears.
It doesn't happen overnight, just as it doesn't usually occur overnight, but over time the syptoms can be greatly reduced and managed without prescriptions.
Pilates is the best thing that ever happened to me and my "bad hip", now I call it my favorite hip.
