Having just experienced the death of my Father and a heart issue with my husband's Mother, I find myself reconsidering my Holiday menus. Why can't delicious food also be healthy? So....I am busy trying the "revamp" my recipes to make them a bit more heart healthy. I want my family to enjoy this wonderful season that is quickly arriving and come out on the other end better for it, instead of 10 pounds heavier and depressed. As I experiment with my recipes, I challenge you to do the same. Let's see if we can share and compare. I am sure we can be successful! I promise to use real ingredients, no fake sugar substitutes, no plastic margarine and as few carbs as possible. You have to figure that if the good Lord made it, it must be good for us in moderation. Wish me luck!
