Oh, how our kids are captured by those golden arches! For decades they have been able to draw us in with there animated comercials that always make the "free toy" come to life and their appealing ninety-nine cent menu that can afford the whole family to eat out. Well you know the old saying if sounds to good to be true IT IS! I was lead by some of my peers to buy a cheeseburger happy meal and sit it on my kitchen counter in the bag and leave it. That's right-leave it! They swore to me they had already done this experiement and I would be shocked at the outcome. I thought roaches, ants and mold, but against my better judgment I did it. Well this is it one year later. No mold, no bugs, nothing! Bread that does not mold, meat that does not rot? This is a meal I had been "treating" my family to for years. I mean it was an affordable night out! Well let me tell you another saying "pay now or pay later" and that is exactly what many americans are doing today. We are paying with our health for years of eating fake cheese burgers on fake buns! This is a picture of my one year old cheeseburger but I have seen them up to eight years old and they remain unchanged, untouched by critters and zero decomposition! Remember your food is your fuel and if we want healthy happy kids we must make the choice to feed them the right fuel. So if you ask me it is a not so "Happy Meal" you could say it is a "Nappy Meal".

I've forwarded this to my daughter in Chicago that rarely let her girls eat McDonald's when they were young. They're now almost 17 and 21.

this is terrible, to think we've been letting our children eat this fake food, all the while thinking we were making a somewhat decent choice fro them. VERY eye opening!!
