Driving behind (guessing) a 1973 Ford F150, blue & white with a bit of chrome 1/2 ton truck 2 or 3 Sundays ago. The driver & his passenger looked pretty comfortable cruising down the road together, the passenger had a cute curly head of fairly short auburn hair, at least it looked that way from where I was sitting. I followed them down the city street for quite some time. As I pondered "How sweet is that, sitting so close, people still do this, wondering are they going for Sunday Brunch" My mind flicked from thought to thought wondering about the truck, the relationship of the two occupants and their story. We traveled for 3 or 4 miles I suspect before I had the desire to pick up the pace. Alone in my Dodge Avenger I made my way past the 1973 Ford that was maneuvering down the road and I became the leader for the next 3-4 miles. I thought how nice, Sunday drive together in the old Ford F150. Traffic was flowing nicely & we sailed through the lights along the King George. Eventually I had to stop for a red light & looked in my rear view mirror once again. I smiled, giggled & then started to laugh. Turned out the passenger happened to be a fine curly haired canine. The driver looked relieved we were stopped as he reached to the dash for his coffee cup & a took a swill while his up close & personal passenger looked to the left & right and checked out the vehicles with great intent.  I could tell he loved cruising with his dad. I smile, sometimes giggle & sometimes laugh out loud when I think about it even now. That was one lucky dog & he totally blessed my day!
