Marlene and Warren Law from The Pub in Winter Haven, along with residents from Swiss Golf and Tennis Club & Hidden Golf Club, have truly been Mr. And Mrs. Claus to the Sunshine Foundation Dream Village over the years! Since 2003, they have raised over $18,000 to answer the dreams of seriously ill children. Marlene and Warren have been instrumental in planning, organizing and motivating the elves to make this event extremely successful each year. This year’s Holiday Dinner and Auction was held at The Pub and raised over $4,000.00. This fun event featured gourmet food prepared by Warren himself and a special live auction where guests bid on wrapped items before they are opened!

The elves from Left to Right are: Marveen Downing, Melanie Crouso, Marie Buckley, Warren and Marlene Law, Eileen Bragg, Anne Latimer, Jan Jatrinski.
Not pictured: Cece and Kerry Coder, Adrian Nurrenbrock and Sandy Prosbt. Marlene said, “These ladies did a great job. They got all the donations and wrapped everything and then enjoyed themselves at the auction....A lot of work goes into our little event”.
Sunshine Foundation's sole purpose is to answer the dreams of chronically ill, seriously ill, physically challenged and abused children ages three to eighteen, whose families cannot fulfill their requests due to the financial strain that the child's illness may cause. “Not all children are able to run and play and enjoy life. Many are innocent victims of birth defects, accidents and deadly diseases. Shouldn't each child know that somebody cares enough to see his or her dream come true?” - Bill Sample, President Emeritus & Founder, Sunshine Foundation.
