Helping People on Food Stamps
Last year I went through a very hard time, I was waiting for disability to be approved, my husband left and I was without cash to do anything. I did have food stamps but I learned very fast that food stamps did not buy toilet tissue, washing powerder, tooth paste and so much more. You can see my ministry at www.ReachTheMasses.org and my webchannel at …

Seder not Cedar: Parsley and Salt
Not a great listener but I do raise my hand a lot when the Pastor asks for volunteers. When he said they were doing a dinner and needed herbs..My hand shot up like the F 14t fighter Jet that Jamie's dad flew at Bartow Airbase.
When I got the list of all the things needed for this Ritual , I'm still wondered where I would I find Brown Eggs.
This is an interesting part of the Bible that followed the old traditions.
We are doing a Legacy/Memoirs Class at my Gallery and I…

Kitchen Ministry...Complaint Dept turn left then go down the Hall and LOOK UP
I went to the Hospitality room and heard a lot of grumbling about not enough people signed up to bring sandwiches, something was missing(I think it was a can opener) It was found later but the grumbling continued..Hmmmmm thought this was a ministry and volunteers were abundant.
I found some more frozen biscuits, buttered them sprinkled sugar and cinnamon and toss three trays in the broiler..I thought this was fun and I really would rather have a paint brush in my hand instead of a…

5 Wine Pairing Tips
Wine and food go hand in hand frequently. Here are 5 tips for pairing wine with your meal.
1) Pick a wine you like. If you don't like the wine, chances are you won't like the pairing.
2) Decide if you prefer to complement or contrast the wine and food. For example: Creamy, buttery Chardonnay can be paired with a creamy, cheese filled dish. An alternate can be to contrast the flavors. Pair a slightly sweet wine (Riesling or Muscat) with…

Food for Thought: Southeast Eatery in Winter Haven
It's a tradition for me to meet with friends for breakfast on the first day of school. Our annual breakfast allows us all to meet after we have dropped our children off at school, catch up with each other, and for a few moms (myself included) wipe a few tears away with laughter.Added by Carrie-Ann Brady on August 26, 2010 at 4:31pm — 3 Comments
