Mental Health and Substance Abuse generally are closely related. Why you ask? When we don't feel well emotionally or physically- what do we do? My Work Life - My Occupation/Business is:: I have the privilege of working at Peace River Center. I am responsible for advertising, community relations, internal marketing, and a little bit of everything else. Peace River Center is a private, not-for-profit, community mental health organization with substance abuse treament programs, 2 domestic violence shelters, a rape recovery and resource center, and in/out-patient counseling.
