My Personality - Words to Describe Me:

Who me? Oh right - this is the part where I talk about myself.

I'm a people person - in the most simple way possible. I love spending time with small groups of people and really getting to know someone. I try my hardest to be genuine in all my interactions - no one likes a faker. I'm stubborn, determined, and the youngest of three - yes, that's right, the BABY. No shame.

My Work Life - My Occupation/Business is:

It didn’t take long for me to figure out that I love being behind the scenes. Being a part of something bigger is addicting, as long as I am hiding behind a curtain, camera, or computer. Front and center is tough, and I only end up there when shoved or pushed. That’s why photography works for me.

I appreciate really getting to know someone. Who cares about small talk – tell me about the things that matter to you! Large groups are fun, but you’ll often find me tucked away in a corner with 1 or 2 folks submersed in a meaningful conversation.

I’m a musician. But like I said earlier – I hate the spotlight. In high school, I studied piano at a school of the arts and it was here I realized center stage was not for me. Thankfully, I enrolled in pubic school and took every art class I could, including 4 semesters of photography. Hands down, best decision I ever made.

Plain and simple, I love what I do. I look forward to sharing in each client’s life, capturing images that will be enjoyed for years to come.

My Home Life - My Relationship Status/Children:

I've been married to my husband for over 3 years. We're not perfect, but we still adore each other.

My Fun Life - My Interests & Hobbies:

Lately my husband and I have been rollerblading a lot - what a work out! I love being an Aunt, playing the piano, photography of course, and thinking OUTSIDE the box... in fact, my box is more of a circle.

What Defines Me - The Things I'm Passionate About:

What defines me: First and foremost, I'm defined by Jesus Christ and what His Word says about me. I fail everyday, but praise the Lord it's not how many times I fail, but the simple act of His redeeming love.

Things I'm passionate about: PEOPLE! I love listening to people, encouraging them, and loving them through the tough stuff. I've had some really great listeners in my life, and hope I can only be half as great as they are.

I love photography. The last two years I've grown in this craft, and have officially created a business: JenLynn Photography. I'm loving every second, and simultaneously, scared to death. I appreciate the opportunity to capture a moment in time for clients and look forward to what the future holds.
