- Founder/Owner of LegalOne Partners, Inc. and MerchantOne Partners, Inc. Launching in January 2011, my "just think one" radio show with Clear Channel Radio, based out of Orlando.
- My Home Life - My Relationship Status/Children:
- Married to my husband, Brian for over 15 years and we have our son, Trenton Ace, who is 8. Brian is a stay-at-home dad and holds the fort down:)
- My Fun Life - My Interests & Hobbies:
- I am Mrs. Orlando-America 2010; Community and volunteer work is extremely important to me and keeps me grounded. There are several charties and organizations that I am involved in, however there is one in particular that is near and dear to my heart which is Lighthouse Central Florida (they assist persons with low vision and blindness). I am their "Goodwill Ambassador". I am also a surfer (we have a family condo in Cocoa); saltwater fishing; pageantry; promotional modeling; & commercial acting.

- I am hardly ever home, but I Ti-vo: 24 and Heroes. Favorite movies: The Notebook, Legally Blonde. Favorite Books: Rich Dad, Poor Dad; and A Girl's Guide to Building a Million Dollar Business. I really like many different types of music.
- What Defines Me - The Things I'm Passionate About:
- I am currently a contributor for a National Magazine that is launching in April. My passion is my profession as a paralegal and helping people help themselves. Over the years I have founded my company LegalOne with the mind-set that everyone needs a great paralegal (whether the public or attorneys) and have set out to change the face of legal services as we all know it. Also, because I have been through a lot in my life, homeless at age 17, first in my family to graduate college, entrepreneur, wife, mother; I know that we are all the makers of our own destiny! I am setting out to hopefully be that role model for teenagers, adults and married women- that if you set your mind to something you CAN accomplish it!

- Since 1995, LegalOne’s founder, Dedra Curtis has had the privilege of assisting the public in the areas of estate planning, probate, real estate and corporations, just to name a few. Over the years, she has seen clients over-whelmed; wondering “what do I do”; simply needing someone to call to take care of their needs. We understand that clients want to be communicated with, knowing their matter is being handled in the most cost effective, efficient, and competent manner. Over the last two years, it has been our mission to create a company (LegalOne) that will truly help the public and attorneys, by offering paralegal services at a fraction of the cost. If there is a matter that we as paralegals cannot handle, our referral Attorney’s will be able to assist the client further. We handhold our clients every step of the way.... No matter what their need is; they know that we are their one resource.... for all their needs.
DEDRA L. CURTIS, BA, BS – FOUNDER / PRESIDENT / CEO
Dedra Curtis, a graduate from the University of Central Florida, receiving her BA (Legal Studies) and BS (Criminal Justice) pre-law degrees, with a minor in Sociology. In addition, she is a licensed Realtor® with the State of Florida and obtaining her Florida Real Estate Broker’s designation. Further, she has been a member of the Central Florida Paralegal Association since 1993; and Orange County Bar Association since 1997; and is currently filing for her minority woman owned business certification.
Since 1995, Ms. Curtis has extensive executive level experience in legal, business consulting, marketing/advertising and project management. Her motto is: “Everyone needs a great Paralegal.” Over the years, she has taken her expertise and education, to set the standard in the Paralegal profession and developed the concept of LegalOne. An entrepreneur at heart, Ms. Curtis thrives on building businesses.
As Executive Director of the Professional Resource Center (PRC), in Orlando, Florida, she took this company and built it from the ground-up. Throughout the growth of PRC, not only did Ms. Curtis establish a company that assisted hundreds of people in finding the right attorney or professional, she was integral in the formation and implementation of operations, recruitment, advertising/marketing, retention of member attorneys and professionals, and lead generation (via implementation of strategic marketing through the radio show Olsen on Law, AM 580 WDBO; television WESH channel 2; and Clear Channel Radio). Due to her diverse experience and results, corporate executives have sought out Ms. Curtis to help them build their own businesses.
Ms. Curtis is heavily active in the community through her involvement with Lighthouse Central Florida, Seniors First and Central Florida Boy Scouts, to name a few. In addition, she is the reigning Mrs. Orlando-America, making appearances throughout Central Florida and volunteering her time to various causes. Furthermore, she was selected by First National Bank of Central Florida to sit on their small business executive panel to develop and implement new business banking products and procedures. She has founded and directed various organizations locally, regionally, and served on national advisory boards.
