The past 5 months have been very challenging for me personally.  But they are now in the past.  After Monday, my life should start to get back to normal...or at least back to what is normal for me.  It's been a struggle, and for those who have been there to support me along the way.  I thank you.  The support of my friends has been very important to me, and emotionally therapeutic.

Now it's time to focus on the future.   Time to do the things I want to do, reach out to those…

Grocery shopping. A task many look at with disdain is one I really don't mind. Maybe it's that I feel some amount of control--I get to choose what I want or need, and it forced upon me. Large or small, fresh or frozen, boxed or bagged, it's all up to me.

So I wander through the aisle with list in hand and leisurely fill my cart, throwing in a few things that aren't on the list as well. I get to walk through the produce department and pick and choose what I want, or I can…

I think today was pay it forward day....if it was, I missed it. I would have loved to take part in that effort and pay it forward. I love to do little things like going through a toll booth and paying for the car behind me. It doesn't take much to make someone's day....but sometimes that little thing can mean a lot.
