On a recent shopping expedition with my sister, we searched high and low for really stylish clothing in a size 14 or large and found very little.  The majority of what we found was "old lady" clothing.  Those funky prints and unflattering mumus that pass for clothing for BIG women. Why?  Everyone knows that the average size of the mature American woman is 14, so why are the majority of clothing stores still catering to the 0-12 crowd?  Think you won't sell stylish clothes in larger sizes?  Think again!  We are out here wanting to dress well and have plenty of money to do so.

I would like to see more fashion shows that cater specifically to BIG women, with styles that flatter and are comfortable to wear, also BIG accessories, bracelets and necklaces made for the bigger woman, double wide shoes in half sized that don't look like something your grandmother might have worn, etc,. etc., etc., !!!!

Let's hear if for the BIG girls out there who want and deserve to look great as well!
