When my daughter Jordan was 2.6 years old, my mother came to watch her while I went to work. It was a beautiful summer day and I left both grandmother and daughter playing happily in the backyard. Upon returning home that evening, Jordan met me at the door explaining that grandma had fussed at her, spanked her and put her in her room. I asked Jordan what it the world happened. She replied, "when I was outside I had to tee-tee- so I went over and tee-teed in grandmas purse." I was shocked and immediately called my mother to question her about the events. Upon, hearing the story my mother denied anything happened. I told her not to cover for what Jordan had done. She said she was'nt..and about then my 2.6 year old then said "I made it all up just to see what I would do."
Mendy, great story! Kids are so funny at that age!

I love going to the contempory service at Highland Park Church. Sometimes we dress up in our Steeler gear, well, almost always we wear our favorite Steeler shirts on Sunday. This morning my grandson, Ethan, was hamming it up pretty good in his Hines Ward shirt. The sunglasses, however, came off before we entered. I can only take comtemporary so far!
