The Lake Wales Art Show Provides An Artistic Oasis Close to Home

The Lake Wales Art Show, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – on Saturday March 27th and Sunday March 28th , is critically acclaimed and draws more than 30,000 visitors annually. Buyers and browsers can stroll the “walk of art” under a canopy of oak and sky on the shores of Lake Wailes, set against the backdrop of the beautiful Lake Wailes National Audubon birding trail. Discover the finest pieces of art and fine crafts from artisans from around the nation as well as around the world. Find exceptional paintings in acrylic, oil and watercolor as well as sculpture, photography, wood, pottery, glass, jewelry, ceramics and more. The variety of media and styles offers something of interest for everyone from the novice to the expert and meets price points for every level of collector.
The Lake Wales Art Show distinguishes itself by finding talented new artists who have become nationally renowned, as well as welcoming back crowd favorites. Live musical entertainment, specialty foods and an exciting children’s activity area make for an experience the whole family will enjoy.
All are invited to the Lake Wales Art Show. There is no admission fee and no charge for parking. The Lake Wales Art Show is an annual, juried art show produced by a committee of the Lake Wales Arts Council with more than 200 volunteers from the community. Directions to the Art Show:
From I-4, take US Highway 27 South and turn left onto Central Avenue, which leads directly to Lake Wailes, turn left.
From SR 60, take US Highway 27 North 1 block, turn right onto Central Avenue to Lake Wailes, turn left.
Free parking will be available on either side of the art show site.
